Helen is a highly experienced employment law specialist. She advises both employers and employees on all aspects of employment law.
Her wide range of experience covers both contentious matters (such as employment tribunal claims) and non-contentious employment law issues including ad hoc employment queries, corporate support and employment insolvency issues.
Helen’s clients have included multinational companies in a wide range of sectors, financial institutions, SMEs, family-run businesses, educational institutions, charities and senior executives.
She has been recognised as a leading expert by the Legal 500 for several years and in the Chambers & Partners Directory is described by clients as being “quick and responsive”, having “excellent client care” and as adopting “a highly commercial outlook”.
Helen qualified in 1999. She trained in the City and has worked as a senior lawyer and Partner at leading employment law firms in the City and Thames Valley for over 20 years. She began working as a Consultant for Lewis Denley in 2017.
Helen’s approach to employment law is to offer and commercial advice in a straightforward way. She recognises that understanding clients’ business or personal objectives is a key part of helping them to achieve the outcome they are looking for.
Helen has also spoken at seminars on various employment law issues and written various articles for professional publications.
Outside of work, Helen enjoys yoga and meditation, travelling to destinations and reading about Eastern philosophies.
