Abbie joined the team in September 2019 after graduating from Canterbury University with a 1st class Honours Degree in Law with Criminology. She will be starting her LPC in September 2020 through the University of Law – alongside a Master’s degree – and will begin her training contract with Lewis Denley once she has completed her LPC.
In addition to undertaking her legal qualifications, Abbie has always taken a proactive approach to her career in law. In her 2nd and 3rd years of university she volunteered at Canterbury Court through the Access to Justice Community Legal Companion Scheme. This gave Abbie the opportunity to act as a legal companion at Canterbury Court, providing signposting as well as legal guidance and support to those who attended the court unrepresented.
Abbie’s passion outside of work are her horses, which she tends to every day before and after work. She also competes them in show jumping at an affiliated level under British Showjumping. Abbie enjoys this highly demanding sport, which has helped make her more dedicated and determined to achieve.
